The Adair Petal Short is a deliberately simple shape — relaxed, slightly boxy, with a gentle flare that comes from the hem rather than the cut. What gives it its character is the ornate floral embroidery running along that hem: cream-on-cream, intricate and layered, the same language as the Adair Amory Midi Dress. In the same tonal palette it reads as texture at first glance, embroidery on closer inspection. The kind of detail that makes a plain cream short look considered rather than basic.
The waistband is elasticated with a drawstring finished in a cream tassel — pull it in or wear it relaxed at the natural waist. The 100% recycled cotton is lightweight and soft, with 35cm waist to hem keeping the length genuinely short. It's built to work alongside Kinga Csilla's bolder pieces: the embroidery holds its own against graphic print tees without competing with them.

Fit Advise: Relaxed and loose-fitting. Measurements based on size 8: half waist un-stretched 33.5cm, half waist stretched 57cm, waist to hem 35cm. Grade rule: 2.5cm difference between sizes, 1cm difference in length.

Click & Collect is available at our Mona Vale boutique, between 10am and 4pm Monday to Saturday. The Pick-up delivery option must be selected during checkout. You will be notified when your click & Collect order is ready for collection.

Do you offer Free Shipping?
Yes! We are pleased to offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $200 within Australia and $300 for International orders.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world and are pleased to offer free shipping on orders over $300 AUD.
For orders under $300 we offer shipping at a flat rate of $15 to NZ and $30 to all other countries. Please contact us before placing your order if you require express shipping as we can provide this at an additional charge.
How long will it take to receive my order?
The delivery time depends on your location and the shipping method you choose. All of our orders are shipped from our store in Sydney Australia and we aim to dispatch on the same day the order is received!
Standard shipping within Australia usually takes between 2 to 5 business days, while express shipping can take 1 to 3 business days.
International deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
