Roame SS26 Has Arrived at Roze & Thorn

ROAME has always understood that the best evening dressing doesn't begin with an occasion — it begins with a fabric, a print, or a construction detail that makes you want to build the outfit around it. The Heirloom Edition Two delivery landing at Roze & Thorn proves that point across three distinct stories: the warmly detailed Reliquia print, the delicate stretch Cameo Lace, and the Mulburry clipped burnout Jacquard. Nine styles, each with a clear point of view.

The Reliquia Print: The Dress and The Skirt

The anchor pieces of this delivery are the Berkeley Dress - Reliquia and Myrtle Mini Skirt - Reliquia, both cut from ROAME's exclusive Reliquia print linen — an in-house artwork that reads as painterly and precise in equal measure. These two pieces are not an exact set, but they're designed to coordinate: the Berkeley Dress is a strapless ankle-grazer with bust darts and a soft A-line silhouette that grazes the ankle on most frames; the Myrtle Mini Skirt is a wrap-style mini with a contrast printed tie closure and graphic panel detailing.

The Berkeley Dress is the summer event buy of this delivery. Fully lined in 100% cotton, it's significantly more comfortable than an unlined linen dress at a comparable price point, and the Reliquia print — warm, richly detailed, unquestionably premium — does the work that accessories usually do.

The Myrtle Mini Skirt gives the print an entirely different register: shorter, more relaxed, more versatile across day and evening. Wear it with the Berkeley Dress's print as a loose co-ordinate, or with a simple neutral top to let the skirt carry the outfit.

Both pieces are crafted from 100% Linen with a 100% Cotton lining.

Cameo Lace: The Dress and The Shirt

The Cameo Lace group is where ROAME's craft credentials are on clearest display. The Daisie Dress - Cameo Lace and Daisie Shirt - Cameo Lace  share the same premium stretch lace — a 95% Nylon, 5% Spandex blend that moves with the body — but use it to entirely different effect.

The Daisie Dress is the most technically interesting piece in this delivery. The fitted bodice features versatile on/off-shoulder straps and a frill neckline, while the skirt gives way to dramatic artisanal scallop panelling — individual panels arranged with the kind of craft attention that makes the silhouette look dimensional from every angle. At formal events, weddings, or black tie, the Daisie Dress competes with pieces at twice the price.

The Daisie Shirt flips the same lace into a tailored vocabulary: fitted body-hugging silhouette, exaggerated collar, button-through front closure, and wide statement cuffs. Lace in a shirt cut reads entirely differently to lace in a dress — the familiar tailoring structure gives the fabric a sharp, deliberate edge. It transitions naturally from day to evening, and worn together as a co-ordinate, the Daisie Shirt and Dress create one of the more surprising layering combinations in ROAME's current range.

Cameo Lace is a soft ivory-adjacent neutral — warm, versatile, and flattering across a range of skin tones.

Mulburry Jacquard: The Two-Piece and The Gown

ROAME's Mulburry clipped burnout Jacquard appears across three styles in this delivery, and it's the fabric story that makes the most immediate impact. The burnout technique creates rich tactile depth — a sheer, lightweight polyester with a clipped texture that catches light differently at every angle. In ROAME's in-house Mulburry colourway (a deep, warm purple), it's unmistakably evening-appropriate.

The Marcel Top - Mulburry Jacquard and Tallow Pant - Mulburry Jacquard are designed to be worn together as a two-piece, but hold their own separately. The Marcel Top is an asymmetric one-shoulder silhouette with fluid burnout drape that skims the body without gripping it. The Tallow Pant is wide-leg and voluminous — the burnout's lightweight sheerness means the volume reads as airy rather than heavy, and the sophisticated wrap-front waist with adjustable tie closure gives the wearer precise control over the fit. As a combination, they're one of the strongest formal two-piece options currently available at this price point.

The Capri Dress - Mulburry Jacquard takes the Mulburry burnout in a different direction — a fluid body-skimming gown with a contemporary asymmetric one-shoulder neckline. The silhouette is cleaner and more minimal than the Tallow Pant two-piece, making it the choice for occasions that call for something distinctive and effortless rather than deliberately dramatic.

The Statement Gown

The Gloria Gown - Aquamarine in Aquamarine ($480) is the investment piece of the delivery — a fitted cupro gown (90% Cupro, 10% Elastane) with all-over gathered detailing and ROAME's in-house designed metal trim. Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fibre that handles like premium silk while offering more recovery and structure — it makes gowns sit and photograph beautifully. The all-over gathering creates dimension across the entire silhouette, and the Aquamarine colourway — a clear, cool blue-green — makes it impossible to overlook. This is a piece that earns multiple wears precisely because it doesn't look like anything else in the room.
